LASIK Co-management
Laser assisted in situ keratomileusis, commonly referred to as LASIK, is a corrective alternative to glasses or contact lenses. Pediatric
Our Pediatric Comprehensive Exam can be done as early as 6 months of age. Ages 10 and under will be dilated to fully assess ocular health and refractive error. Dilation may last up to 24 hours . The Pediatric assessment includes:
- Assessment of the eye muscles, the child's eye posture (checking for eye turns), and focusing and vergence systems (are the eyes working well together?)
- Assessment of eye health (with dilation)
- Assessment of refractive error (with dilation)
